1) PiTec basic filter
Two-stage sediment filter made of polypropylene foam.
The MAUNAWAI® basic filter has a three times higher dirt absorption capacity compared to conventional filter cartridges of a similar size.
Ideal for removing the following contaminants from the water:
• Sand
• mud
• rust
• pollen
and other suspended solids
Filtration area: outside 25 μm, inside 1 μm
The filter pore size is “seen from the outside in” getting smaller and smaller, which guarantees an optimal filtering out of the sediments.
In the outer layer, all substances that are larger than 25 μm are first stopped, in the inner layer there is an additional filter fleece with a filter density of 1 μm.
Change interval: approx. 12 months, depending on your water quality

The MAUNAWAI 2in1 filter cartridge combines the proven MAUNAWAI intensive filter and the MAUNAWAI PI filter.
Intensive + MAUNAWAI filter
Due to the high density of the coconut activated carbon of 0.45 μm, it is considered bacteria-proof. Germs, fungi etc. are held back.
Pollutants such as pesticides, chlorine, fluorine, chemical-physical substances, or heavy metals such as copper, lead etc. are almost completely absorbed.
The MAUNAWAI PI ceramics ensure regeneration.

Service life / performance
